Welding is not as simple as it appears. There are many intricacies in welding and it is no less than a form of art. Welding is not only about grabbing a gun and melting and joining two things, it needs a lot of resonance and deliberation. There are many different types of welding and one needs to be expert at handling the welding tools to perform any type of welding. The welding tools are of utmost importance in any form or kind of welding.

The different types of welding make the use of different welding tools quite necessary. For every different kind of welding there is a different kind of tool. For example arc welding. Arc welding requires the use an electric arc to join the additional metal with the parent metal. A consumable electrode is used in this process to produce heat that would join the two metals. Another type of welding is the electroslag welding. Electroslag welding is a more complex form of welding and it requires more advanced tools. The same is with the gas metal arc welding. However gas metal arc welding is a bit simpler than the electroslag welding. In the gas metal arc welding the tools used is relatively easily obtainable. It is the most preferred practice in the industries. However the simplest form of welding remains the shielded metal arc welding which only requires a coated electrode. This type of welding is done only with the principle of heat. The tools used for this process is also quite easily available. It is easy for people to get access to them.

The tools required for different kinds of welding processes differ. The tools required for the most basic kind of welding are easily available while the more complex kind of welding process calls for more advanced tools.
